PlayDate w/Felipe

Nate and I visited with Michelle and Felipe yesterday and had a great time. Nate had an especially great time because Felipe has a million and one toys. I felt so bad for Nate cause his he doesn't have too many toys (although Naty will say different) so that's on the list for him. I love finding deals so I'll be looking on craigslist and/or yard sales.
I love how Nate and Felipe interacted, they did so well together and just entertained each other for a while. We def. need to visit with them again.

What a BIG BOY

Nate hit 2 big milestones today.........

1) He sat in his big boy carseat today! I was chatting with a friend that told me what the Heck is Nate pup doing in a carrier still so I decided to bust out the big boy carseat and he LOVED it. Although, the carrier can hold a baby till 30 lbs, I DID NOT want to attempt it. I'm so glad I changed them out, I just hope he'll sleep the way he usually does in the carrier

2) He also sat in the shopping cart for the FIRST TIME! I busted out the shopping cart cover that our friends gave us and it worked out so good. I can finally SHOP! I've waited for this day and it's just surreal. My boy is growing.

Outdoor Boy

Nate's loving the outdoors. Yesterday he watched me plant some flowers in my flower bed and totally knocked out on his own after that. Then today we went out to finish planting and he just sat there and smiled.

Thunder Thighs

I thought I'd make a random post about Nate and the kids. We've been really busy with baseball season coming back but we're loving every minute of it! We have a lot of fun at the park and we love taking Nate to the park to hang out and explore outside (he even ate grass!). Since I'm always so busy I forget to take pictures but that's #1 on my list for the next time we're at the park. But anyway, here's Nate's thunder thighs that he got from his daddy :-)

Here's is Thunder thighs, Nate is such a happy baby :-)

Baptism Decorations

Since it was just a BBQ that we had I didn't want to go overboard so I did a couple of things to make it a little festive. I seen these tissue balls on a blog so I thought I'd try. My first two were hideous! so I told my mom about them and she said she did them when she was younger for my Grandpa when he had his store in Olvera Street. She was a pro!
Also! I got that poster of Nate from Costco.com, they're really easy and cheap to make! I'm thinking of making some for each kids room to hang. I love Costco!

Baptism

(Nate waking up for his big day!)
We baptized Nate on February 27th and it was great! It started off crazy with rain and I'll just call the rest craziness and we were very satisfied with how everything turned out.
