I'm glad I made this trip because the breastpads and nipple cream was expensive! It was almost $20 for both items! So I think its smart to start early so that things don't add up all at once.
The items I have are nail clippers, face wash, toothpaste, antibacterial gel, shampoo, mouthwash, wipes (they don't have these in the hospital, they give you dry rough ones that you have to wet, they suck), breastpads, lotion, chapstick, and nipple cream.
OH! and that long thing under the breastpads aren't going with me to the hospital but I thought they were neat! they're disposable baggies for stinky diapers, They have an extra roll that comes with it and it clips onto your diaperbag.
So far I'm missing, toothbrush, deodorant, rubberbands, brush, some makeup, razor, nursing bra, my own towel, soap, conditioner and for baby his going home outfit, mittens and his lotion. So far so good!

In case you don't know, I saw your blog posted on babycenter.com under the topic of people with blogs.
I appreciated this post from you. I have been trying to figure out what to take in my hospital bag and want to start putting it together. This was extremely helpful!
I'm glad it helped! stay tuned cause I'll be finishing up my bag within the next 2 weeks. I'm having alot more contractions so I'm afraid I might go earlier this time, hopefully no earlier than 37 weeks but you never know! I want to be prepared ;-)Take care and thanks for stopping by!
