27 Weeks

27 Weeks Pregnant

I'm BIG, I don't know how it happened but my belly POPPED. I'm sitting here with a big beachball getting in the way of me sitting forward. Today when I went to get in my car I underestimated the clearance between the door and my belly and SMACK! When I opened the door I guess I was too close (the distance I usually stand from the door) and it hit my big belly. Don't worry, the baby is ok, lol. He's been moving like crazy and doesn't rest. Yesterday was Mother's Day and Nate made sure I knew that he was alive, I mean, all day he was jumping around in there and esp. at church. I can't stop watching my belly bounce around. OH and I forgot! this morning when I woke up he had the hiccups! hahahaha, I don't remember that with the other babies but my belly was jumping and I can feel him hiccuping, hahahaha.

I just got the diapers I ordered 20 years ago! I don't know what took this lady but there here and thats all I care about. My house is still a disaster and I don't know where to start. Naty and his dad completely tore out the 2nd bathroom so we're down to 1 bathroom for 6 of us, this should be very interesting.

I'm still having that awful pain down there, I've been told its ligament pain so I'm sticking to that. I see the specialist this week so I'll let him/her know. Anyway, I better get to work. see you later

I failed :-(

My 3-hour glucose test that is. After getting pricked 4 times I was set free to eat like a pig and I sure did. My arms hurt really bad and they're turning purple as we speak. Poor Audrey was with me the whole time and was so good. I took her to dollar tree for some goodies so she was a lil entertained, after a while she asked when we were going home, lol. Not in a bugging way though, just very curious if that was our new home! Well it'll be my new home for the next 12 weeks cause I have gestational diabetes and will have to see a nutritionist AND high risk doctor every week now, blah! It sucks but I know it has to be done. ON top of last minute homework, presentations and finals, I have that to worry about. So here are my results:

I don't think they're that bad and can be controlled with diet. I failed 2 of the 3 so that makes me a canidate for GD. In a way this will help me cause it will keep my weight down. From this point on I don't want to gain more than 5 pounds. My goal was 15 total and I think I'm around 10 lbs. gained so I know I'll be losing weight towards the end when I can't eat anymore and then with my diet on top of it, 5 pounds sounds good.

I'm also having another problem, My groin area is hurting a ton right now. I feel as if someone came at it with a hammer, the pain is intense and has made me cry twice already. Other than that, nothing else really. Lil Nate is always on the go and moving, he's moving right now actually. I can't believe I'll be 7 months in 1 week and 1 day.

Before I forget, we haven't set up the crib, its still in my living room and needs to go in its spot desperately. Naty works tomorrow so I told him once he gets home he's setting it up, lol. I'm not that brutal but we'll see! I really want my room done with!

26 Weeks Pregnant

Hello!
Week flew by, getting bigger and heavier. Bought a bella band to smooth out my B belly but it only helped a little. My stretch marks are getting bright red (old ones) so far no new ones just waking up my old ones. I've been sleeping good, no complaints but it might be the anemia, lol. I've been taking naps again during the day. Yesterday I had a 2 hour one while MIL was here with the kids and today I had another 2 hour one right after I got back from dropping off Bubbs at school. My mom was watching Audrey while I slept. I really need to buy my iron pills cause I'm just drowsy. After my nap I got up and started cleaning, so thats good!

The baby is still constantly moving and trying to come through my skin. He's always so active but I know that will slow down at 28 weeks BUT the moves will be a lot more intense, alien like.

Well, not much to report. We'll probably start buying things this week and I'll share as I get them. bye

25 weeks and less than 100 days left!

25 Weeks Pregnant

My ticker says 104 days but again, since I'll be having a c-section 1 week before I have 97 days left!

I had a little scare on friday and had to go to the L&D, I was hooked up to monitors and given IV for severe dehydration after crapping and barfing my brains out. All the labs came back really good and no sign of anything bad. So I'm not sure if it was caused by a bacteria or virus but I'm finally a lot better. The baby was very active and his heart was really strong. I managed to lose about 7-10 lbs. which I can see in my face. I don't know exactly how much I weighed before I got sick but I know it was more than my last appt. and according to my last appt. I'm down about 7 lbs. so it can be anywhere between 7 and 10. I see my doctor this thursday so I know he'll be upset that I lost weight, lol. In the beginning I wasn't gaining weight and he thought I was dieting or something, yeah right. Let's see what he thinks this time.

I recieved the cloth wipies last week but still haven't recieved the diapers. I can't wait! We're going to set up our room this weekend since we found out that the crib is ready for us. It's funny but we're setting up our room exactly how we had it when Audrey was born. The bed, crib, dresser and tv in the same exact spot. Oh and I'm happy to report that I now have a door to my bathroom. So I no longer have to run to the hallway bathroom in the middle of the night, Naty finally moved the wall over and attached the door so we can now enter our bathroom through our room! its not nice though but it will be soon!

I'll have to post pics of our room after we're done.

6 months!

24 Weeks Pregnant

I made it! My baby is now viable!! thank you GOD! It still isn't a good idea to have a baby this early on so I pray he continues baking BUT I'm happy that my baby has a chance if I were to go into preterm labor. Ok! since Easter my stomach popped out even more, it has grown and you can def. tell that I'm pregnant and not just fatter. Little Nate is also moving TONS! constantly and loves to go through my skin when I'm bend over or getting off the bed and it always scares me. I usually jump or scream cause its that intense of a kick, doesn't hurt but it startles me every time.

I was just imagining how he would look and I think he's gonna look exactly like Bubbs. In the ultrasound pic you can see his huge cheeks and his profile looks like Bubbs already it's so cute. I can't wait to meet this little guy! he's so wanted by everyone.

So my friend wants to have me a baby shower but Naty and I aren't liking that idea so we decided not to have one. I'll just invite people over to see him after he's born cause I can not deal with another party right now. I'm still recovering from Bubbs' party and that was MONTHS ago. I'd rather celebrate his life in another way, probably a BBQ after he's here already. But we need to start getting ready and buying things here and there cause I don't want to be getting things at the last minute. I'll start with his all in one diapers and collecting clothes from friends, lol. I have 2 friends that want to pass on their baby clothes and I say, bring them on! anyway, back to cleaning....

23 Weeks

23 Weeks Pregnant

23 weeks already! and feeling the weight and pressure already. A lot of people say that I don't even look pregnant but I feel it and my stomach really popped in the last 3 days and for Easter I looked really big, lol.

I'm having a lot of leg pain and Naty made me walk last night and I felt so heavy when we we're done but I know its going to help me except for the part that he wanted to walk to King Taco, he's crazy! I said, heck no! But I did buy the maternity belt but don't really wear it since it feels a little uncomfortable.

The baby has been moving like crazy and I feel him everyday, ALL DAY! He's constantly moving around in there and esp. when I'm sitting or laying down he becomes the most active. I can feel him now! while I sit and type, he's up high already and trying to go through my skin. On Easter he kicked me really hard that it scared me but I was happy right after cause I knew he was ok.

On my last appt. my doc said everything was good and his heartbeat was at 150 which is really strong. I also had a little scare and had to go to the L&D but no contractions but a high fever, after lots of blood tests they said I was coming down with something and sure enough the next day I was miserable and was sick for about 1.5 weeks.

My next appt. is April 30th

18 Weeks Pregnant

18 weeks and it's going great! I love my baby :-) he's so wanted and I can't wait to hold him in my arms. We're all in love with him and still haven't met him, he's one lucky baby! After I found out that he was a boy I took Audrey to Wally's and she picked out a monkey outfit and a onesie with a massive cow on it! LOL!! it was sooooooo cute that I couldn't say no to her! esp. cause she was thinking of the baby, aaaww my baby. Bubbs is really happy that it's a boy and he's going to have so much fun with him. I just see how he plays with our Godson Miguelito and how gentle he is with him that I know he's going to be a good big brother. Naty is just on cloud 9 right now and touches my BIG belly every night.

I better go to bed now, this time change has really screwed us up and it's going to take a while to get used to it. So I'm off to bed......

SLOW DOWN--16 weeks=4 Months

16 Weeks Pregnant

Yesterday was the first time I felt the baby move so much. He/She moved about 6 times that I felt and it's getting stronger. Naty has been wanting to feel but I have to remind him that I have extra baggage on me and it's going to take some time to feel the baby. I have my 4 month appt. this week and I have a list of questions for my doctor, also the countdown is getting near! till our gender ultrasound, can't wait! We have.....8 days left!

My hip is getting worse and more frequent. I had a good half day yesterday, it seems to get worse at night, which makes sense. And last night, I could not sleep for the life of me, I was tossing and turning constantly and Naty was getting mad that he couldn't sleep either, OOPS, hehe. I need a body pillow and a new BED! ggrrr. Even though I'm going through this crap, I want it to slow down. I really want to enjoy it, even though I have aches and pains.

Last night, I was imagining where we'd put the baby, of course with us since I'm gonna attempt breastfeeding (again), but I was thinking in the same corner that we had Audrey's crib when she was born. Naty said yeah, that would be good so we're going to arrange our room the way it was when Audrey was born so that things move smoothly for us. I'm also going to get rid of that big bulky dresser that we have since it's literally a waste of space, nothing fits in the drawers. I might try to convince Naty to buy us a dresser or just find storage containers to store under our bed since we have alot room under there. Anyway, it's going to work out and once the baby is bigger we'll have to find a space for him/her.

So, here we go, right into the fourth month. This is the month that people will start noticing that I'm pregnant cause it really pops out during this time. I got all of my maternity clothes from old navy for about $160 and I got a lot of stuff! I was really excited since I got it for so cheap and won't have to buy anything else.

Celebrating! I made it to my 2nd trimester!

14 Weeks Pregnant

Today marks.....14 weeks! It's hard to believe I'm already in my second trimester, time has flown by and I'm just thinking about how fast the 3rd trimester will come now.

I'm still having minor cramping and sleeping is getting a lot more difficult as time goes by. It's getting harder to sleep on my stomach and I'm starting to lose my breath a lot more. My belly is really hard and getting in the way, I'm afraid of how big it's gonna get.

Naty is in love with this baby and tells me how excited he is and that makes me feel really good. The kids are also excited and asking what I'll name him/her constantly, I've told them my ideas and usually they say, "why?" and want to name him/her after disney princesses and/or other disney characters.

Also, I was starting to feel little flutters which have stopped but I know for sure in 2 more weeks I won't be mistaken about what I'm feeling.
