Once I was late I knew something was up so I took test after test and they all kept coming back negative. Then I had cramps, aching boobs, headaches, sick and not getting better and thought I HAVE to be pregnant because this is not normal. So finally on 12/5/08 I got my first faint line, then another and another. I got really excited then I said, nah these are too faint. I should be getting a strong line since I should be further along. So on the next day 12/6/08 I tested again and got the same faint line, it still didn't make me feel good so I went the whole weekend feeling unsure. So come monday I get to the doctor's office and what happens! POSITIVE, I'm definately pregnant.
According to my LMP I should be due on August 6, 2009, so that makes me 5 weeks pregnant, but we'll see. Hopefully its a later date cause I know it'll be super hot in August, yuck! I have my first "set-up" appointment this Wed. at 1pm so I'll be talking with a nurse, dietician, getting lab work, and getting all my reading material.
No one in our family knows yet! I've told online friends and two distant friends but no one close in my family or no close friends yet. We're hoping to break the news on Christmas Eve. That is going to be so hard.
As for Naty he just smiled and laughed, in the beginning he was in denial but once I showed him the pink slip he changed, lol. I know he'll love this baby just like he loves the others so I have no worries. He just doesn't want me giving up on my dreams which I won't! this is actually making me want to better myself even more!
So here I'll talk about everything that has to do with my pregnancy starting here till the end. Hopefully I'll have a beautiful healthy baby in the next 8 months. WOW! is this really happening?
